We are excited about the additional behavioral health specialists who will be helping law enforcement officers on crisis calls in Larimer County. The $397,000 grant from the Colorado Department of Human Services. This grant will allow specialists to respond to calls in which a mental or behavioral health issue is involved in hopes of helping funnel people to the resources they need instead of just sending them into the criminal justice system and continuing the cycle.
