Peer Specialists are individuals with lived experience who have been trained to support those who struggle with substance use, mental health or psychological traumas. These individuals share tools, skills and resources that have helped them transform their lives out of similar situations. Their personal experience with these challenges provides them with expertise that professional training cannot replicate.

We currently have Peers imbedded within the following programs providing support:

  • Substance Use Disorder Intensive Outpatient programs (SUD IOP)
  • Outpatient programs
  • Assertive Community Treatment (ACT)
  • Community Dual Disorders Treatment (CDDT)
  • Harvest Farms
  • Murphy Center
  • Mountain Crest
  • Zero Suicide Pathway (Caring Contacts)
  • A Peer Run Aftercare program for SUD IOP graduates
  • AIIM and Wellness Court programs
  • Choices Café
